Structure of the School

Pebble Creek Life Schools functions as three different wings/levels to respond to the changing development needs of children.

Montessori House of Children (2.2 to 6 years of age)

  • Working in Activity Based Learning Environments in mixed age groups.
  • Learning happens through interaction with concrete material.
  • Focus on gaining physical independence.
  • Focus on Language Development.

Primary Years (Grade 2 to 5)

  • Working in Activity Based Learning Environments in mixed age groups
  • Learning happens through interaction with concrete material and simultaneous abstraction
  • Exploring and experimenting with concepts via activity, research and referencing work

Middle School Years (Grade 6 and 7)

  • Working in classrooms and laboratories.
  • Working on class projects.
  • Learning happens through social interactions and engaging with abstract ideas.
  • Planning one’s own learning and monitoring it.

Secondary School Years (Grade 8 to 10)

  • Working in classrooms and laboratories.
  • Working on class projects.
  • High ownership and accountability towards one’s own work and upkeep of the school community.
  • Work schedule as per the curricular guidelines from CBSE.
