M Mercy Jyothsna

Science Teacher

Mercy has been working in the education field for five years. She did her Post-graduation in Bio-chemistry and Bachelor of Education in Biology. She works in Pebble creek life school as a trained graduate teacher. She is a dedicated team player with good communication skills. Her experience over a few years with students of various age groups brings in versatile understanding which helps her in the classrooms with diverse personalities and learning styles. She is passionate about dance and considers it to be a great workout.

Aditya Vaishampayan

Experiential Educator

Aditya is a Chartered Accountant by chance and an educator by choice. He has completed his Bachelor in Education degree after getting the Diploma in Experiential Education and Practice. He works in Pebble Creek Life School as the Middle and Secondary Years facilitator of Maths, English, Social Sciences and Life Skills, though Mathematics is his first love. He believes in developing essential 21st century competencies in his students. He believes in creating safe learning environments where learning takes place organically. He is passionate about education and many other things such as sustainable living, organic farming, alternate medicine, football and learning new languages.

Madhulita Patnaik

Social Science and Math Teacher

Madhulita is a Master in Business Administration and B.Ed. She worked in the banking sector before she consciously chose to be an Educator. She did her fellowship with Teach for India where she was nominated for creating a transformational impact journey for her students. As an Elementary teacher for Social Science and Math, at PCLS, she is committed to creating a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating and encouraging to her students. She is driven by her innate urge to learn from her surrounding and hence enjoys her teaching-learning experience to the core. She has an aptitude to remain flexible to ensure that every child’s learning style and ability is addressed. She is also an accomplished Odissi dancer and enjoys reading, crafting and painting.

A. Neeraja

Math Teacher

Neeraja is a Mathematics teacher. She is M.Sc., B.Ed. with a passion in teaching. She has worked with reputed International schools in Hyderabad. She has attended various workshops related to professional development and teaching methodologies in Math. She aims to contribute in a positive way for the progress of children at Pebble Creek Life School.

 

Arindita Gogoi

Experiential Educator

Arindita identifies herself as an experiential educator and creative facilitator. After graduating from Delhi University, she delved into the field of media, documentary film-making, book publishing, social development and eventually, alternative education. She has been working as an experiential educator and trainer for eight years. She is a strong believer of the creative community model and Play for Peace values in creating opportunities for conflict resolution. Working with children and seeing them imbibe the spirit of empathy as they grow, is what keeps her motivated day in and day out.

Shaurya Pratap

Experiential Educator

ShauryaPratap is an engineer by qualification but an educator by profession. After a stint, as a networking engineer in a telecom company, he moved to outdoor education and facilitation. He holds a diploma in experiential education and practices. He believes in developing a classroom into a community where every student feels free and safe to express his/her ideas, views and opinions. He is an avid astronomer, a fervent guitar player and a die-hard mountaineer.

Nikhil Ranbhise

Experiential Educator

Nikhil is passionate about learning, exploring ideas, developing skills and perceiving and enjoying beauty. Diving down the rabbit hole of exploration and creativity has lead him to work with schools for the past nine years. He is a firm believer in the idea that learning is rooted in emotions – we’re driven to learn and explore what we love; and prefer to explore ideas and things with the people we love. He believes that the relationship between teachers and their students is the key to a healthy classroom.

At Pebble Creek, Nikhil teaches English, Science, History and Social and Political Life as well as facilitating Community Building and Life Skills. He also helps train the Middle and Secondary School students in music for cultural activities, when required. 

He is a trained teacher and also holds a diploma in Experiential Education and Practice. 

Angelina Hebzibah

English Teacher

Angelina has been teaching for the past seven years and she adores it very much. She is delighted to be part of a very positive and caring teacher-team at Pebble Creek Life School. She has previously worked for Foster Billabong High International School for six years where she was teaching Math and English. She has done her Masters in Computer Application and holds a bachelor’s degree in Education. She emphasises that while she teaches, she also gets to learn new things from her students and some of them have inspired her in the most remarkable way. She believes in learning every day. Her interests outside school include singing, reading and cooking.

M.S.Geetha Rani

Hindi Teacher

Geetha has been working in the field of Education for around ten years. She did her post-graduation and B.Ed. in Hindi. She works in Pebble Creek Life School as a Trained Hindi Graduate Teacher along with being the Hindi and Events Coordinator for Middle and Secondary School Years. She is an organized, positive and hardworking person with good communication and interpersonal skills. She has the ability to learn quickly and to adopt new things in her work. She is passionate about designing and stitching dresses, Art & Craft and Cooking.

D. Shakuntala

Hindi Teacher

Shakuntala works with Middle and Secondary School children as a Hindi teacher. Her qualifications are M.A. and B.Ed. She loves doing art and craft work. Her dedication and hard work keeps her students and colleagues on-track with their work.

CH. Rajitha

Telugu Teacher

Rajitha works with Middle and Secondary School children as a Telugu teacher. Her qualifications are M.A. and B.Ed. She is a district level volleyball player. She is also excited about exploring Art and Craft. Her ever smiling presence in the teachers’ team is an asset for the school. She takes pride in her ability to be a team-player and commitment towards all the responsibilities she takes up.

Toranala Kavitha

Telugu Teacher

Kavitha works with Primary, Middle and Secondary School children as a Telugu teacher. Her qualifications are M.A. and B.Ed.

D. S. Srinivas

Teacher Assistant

D.S. Srinivas joined Pebble Creek Life School in 2017. He is a strong pillar for support for the Middle and Secondary School Team.  His ability to multi-task and stay focused keeps the entire team on track. His hobbies are cooking, watching movies, sleeping, listening music and reading.  He is a football player and plays a goalkeeper for Rainbow Club.

Nisha Sharma

Head – Upper Elementary and Language Curriculum for Elementary Years

Nisha has a wide range of experience of working in Education in different roles. She did her graduation and post-graduation in Elementary Education. She also has a Diploma in Experiential Education and Practice. 

Her exploration to create a classroom culture which is safe and democratic has led her to explore the principles of experiential education. She believes that ‘emotions are gatekeepers to learning’ and therefore she uses the process of community building to create safe learning environments in her classrooms. Her experience testifies that once the children feel safe in the classrooms, their academic and social performance enhances as the children feel capable of taking charge of their own learning. 

She is passionate about exploring essential life skills with children. These skills include practicing democracy, being intrinsically motivated, recognizing power dynamics within and around oneself and recognizing one’s own value-system. Her focus is to create a culture of learning, co-creation, ownership and purposefulness.

She is excited about working with children, theatre, traveling, story-telling and exploring sustainability as a life value.​Nisha has a keen interest in exploring theatre and play as a methodology for learning and peace-building.
